Representative to recap 2023 General Assembly session & seek constituent input
During May and early June, State Rep. Victoria Garcia Wilburn (D-Fishers) will recap the 2023 Indiana General Assembly through a series of town halls across House District 32.
Rep. Garcia Wilburn will discuss major legislation from this year as well as her own authored legislation (including her first bill signed into law) and provide residents with an opportunity to provide feedback and input on next session’s legislative priorities.
With this series of town halls, Rep. Garcia Wilburn announces her “Walk with Your Rep” walking town halls that will take place at various trails in District 32. For the “Walk with Your Rep” town halls, attendees will meet at the specified location at each start time, have a short discussion and then walk as a group as Garcia Wilburn discusses legislative updates and seeks input from them.
“I can’t wait to report back to House District 32 on the progress I’ve made at the Statehouse during my first legislative session as your state representative,” Rep. Garcia Wilburn said. “From having my first piece of legislation sent to the governor’s desk to be signed into law to supporting other laws that will improve Hoosiers’ lives, I’m proud to share how I’ve been working for you. If you decide to attend one of my ‘Walk with Your Rep’ town halls, we can get some steps in, enjoy some of District 32’s best community assets and have a productive conversation about legislative and community issues.”
