Soccer: NHS boys tie Brownsburg

The Noblesville boys soccer team finished their regular season with a 1-1 tie at Brownsburg in a thursday Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
The Bulldogs scored just before halftime. The Millers tied the game one minute into the second half with Garrett Russell making the equalizer.

Sheridan’s boys team beat Benton Central 5-1 Thursday in its last game of the regular season.
The Blackhawks led 3-0 at halftime, with Will Zachery scoring two goals and Ethan Reynolds one. Joey Hooper and Logan Koepkey added goals in the second half.
Sheridan plays University Tuesday in the first round of the Heritage Christian sectional.

University’s girls finished their regular season with a 7-0 win over Herron.
Tessa Hudson and Halle Von Ah both scored two goals, with Von Ah also making an assist. Lily Snyder, Grace Brenner and Reese Kavanaugh all scored one goal; Kavanaugh’s was her first-ever high school goal on a penalty kick. Shelby Wood made an assist. Lilly Fair finished the game with a shutout.
The Trailblazers will play at the Sheridan sectional next week, taking on Tipton at 5 p.m. next Thursday.
