State Representative Alaina Shonkwiler (R-Noblesville) released the following statement after securing re-election to represent House District 29 in Hamilton County:
“Serving the community where I was raised and where Jason and I are raising our children is the absolute honor of a lifetime. I am deeply grateful to the voters of Noblesville and District 29 for their continued trust and support.
“Over the past two years, we focused on delivering results that make a real difference—lowering costs for taxpayers, backing our law enforcement and first responders, holding utility companies accountable, and supporting our local schools. Tonight’s victory proves that when we lead with common-sense solutions, our community moves forward together.
“Our work is just getting started. I remain committed to bringing accessible, results-driven leadership to the Statehouse and fighting every day for the families, neighborhoods, and small businesses that make Hamilton County such an incredible place to live. Thank you, District 29!”
First elected in 2024, Shonkwiler serves on the House Government & Regulatory Reform, Public Policy, and Utilities, Energy & Telecommunications committees.
