Alaina Shonkwiler, Republican candidate for State Representative for District 29, recently held a breakfast at Matteo’s Ristorante in Noblesville, headlined by Congressman Jim Banks.

The breakfast drew a packed house in support of Shonkwiler’s campaign and was attended by other notable guests including former Congresswoman Susan Brooks, former State Senator Luke Kenley, State Representative Ethan Manning (R-23), County Commissioner Steve Dillinger, Noblesville City Councilors Megan Wiles, Mike Davis, Evan Elliott, and Fishers City Councilor John DeLucia.

Rep. Banks, the event headliner, has served as Congressman for Indiana’s 3rd District since 2017, where he has served as Chairman of the Republican Study Committee and is the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in 2024.

“I am incredibly honored to have the support of my friend, Congressman Jim Banks, and am so grateful to all who attended our campaign event,” Shonkwiler said. “Congressman Banks has been on the frontlines fighting for Hoosiers and serving our state and nation with distinction, and he’ll continue fighting for our American way of life in the U.S. Senate. I am a passionate conservative, and I want my children and yours to have the same opportunities I enjoyed growing up in Noblesville. I cannot sit idly by and watch others fight to preserve our way of life. It’s time for a new generation of conservative leadership that has the energy, the enthusiasm, and the relationships to fight for us and our values every single day, and I look forward to being the fighter we need.”
