Shirley Lynn Holtvoigt, 74, Anderson, Ind., passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025.
A cherished mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and wife, Shirley Lynn will be remembered for her boundless love, spirited personality, and creative heart.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Roger; her devoted daughters, Wendy and Katharine; son, Fred; her mother, Patricia; siblings, Cheryl, Paul, and Alexandra; her grandchildren, James, Tyler, Samantha, Carter, Ethan, Tiffany, and Zach; and six great-grandchildren.
Shirley Lynn was deeply devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in being present for them – offering support, love, and care in every season of life. Her generous spirit was extended to her family and her community.
Shirley Lynn was an artistic and creative soul who enjoyed painting, crafting, cooking, and gardening. Her home was a place of beauty and warmth. She loved hosting family gatherings, holidays, and special occasions that brought everyone together. Above all, Shirley Lynn loved Jesus. Her faith was a constant source of strength and comfort. She was a member of iTown Church, where she worshiped alongside her family and found community and purpose. She also gave her time generously, volunteering with the church and helping to provide care for her family with joy and devotion.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 27, with a memorial service beginning at 5 p.m. at Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson. Shirley Lynn’s legacy of love, faith, and creativity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
