April 6, 1943 – July 19, 2025

Carvin Arthur Keele, 82, Carmel, passed away July 19, 2025. He was born in St. Louis, Mo., son of Carvin Cammel Keele and Violet Lorene (Colyott) Keele on April 6, 1943.
Carvin studied agriculture at School of the Ozarks; however, he became an accomplished guitarist with a gifted singing voice. He formed a band and performed in the nightclub he and his wife Julie owned and operated.
As a veteran of the U.S. Army, Carvin proudly served during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal as a Marksman.
In addition to his parents, Carvin was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Anne; sons, Mark and Danny; sisters, Rita, Kay, and Leona.
Survivors include his daughter, Laurie Preston, and son, Michael Keele; six grandchildren, Justin Eifert, Amie Parks, Carlee Eifert, Marjorie Roth, Kaiden Keele, and Nixon Keele; eight great-grandchildren, Chase Parks, Cason Parks, Layla Preston, Rylan Preston, Kaylynne Lindsay, Kennah Lindsay, Kaylee Lindsay, and Magnolia Roth.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Agee Fellowship Church, Poplar Bluff, Mo.
