Sheridan First Christian Church will hold a “Blue Christmas” service at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10. The church is located at 107 W. Third St.
The Blue Christmas service recognizes that not everyone is cheery in the Christmas season and may be feeling “blue” due to life’s difficulties and pain as the result of the death of a loved one, separation, divorce, job loss, or health issues. This is a quiet reflective service that respects where people are and welcomes them to the possibility of healing and hope.
