Inspired by Indiana’s favorite pastime, the basketball drama Hoosiers received two Academy Award nominations, earned a spot in the Library of Congress’ National Film Registry, and is widely considered one of the best sports films of all time.

At 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Payne & Mencias Palladium in Carmel, you can enjoy a 40th anniversary screening of the 1986 classic, hosted by 93.5 & 107.5 The Fan radio host JMV. Click here to get your tickets.

Following the screening, a live Q&A will take place with screenwriter Angelo Pizzo, director David Anspaugh, and actors Brad Long, who clashed with the coach as team captain Buddy Walker, and Maris Valainis, whose character Jimmy Chitwood made the last-second shot to win the state high school championship.

Submit your questions by Nov. 10 to be read during the Q&A.
