After going through the soccer sectional groups on Thursday, The Reporter is now taking a look at the sectional assignments for some of the other fall sports.
First is girls golf, which stays unchanged from last season. Guerin Catholic will host a nine-team sectional at Pebble Brook Golf Course; the other teams playing there are Brebeuf Jesuit, Cardinal Ritter, Carmel, Lebanon, Pike, Speedway, University and Westfield.
Noblesville continues to host the 11-team sectional at Harbour Trees. Other teams competing there are Alexandria, Anderson, Elwood, Fishers, Frankton, Hamilton Heights, Hamilton Southeastern, Lapel, Pendleton Heights and Tipton.
There were no changes in boys tennis. Fishers will host Anderson, Hamilton Southeastern and Pendleton Heights, Carmel will welcome Guerin Catholic, University and Zionsville, and Noblesville will host Hamilton Heights, Lapel and Westfield.
In cross country, Noblesville hosts most of the county schools at the Chinquapin Ridge course at White River Elementary School. The full list of other schools are: Anderson, Anderson Prep Academy, Fishers, Guerin Catholic, Hamilton Heights, Hamilton Southeastern, Lapel, Lebanon, Pendleton Heights, Shenandoah, Tipton and Westfield.
Carmel and University will compete at the North Central sectional. The other schools traveling there are Bishop Chatard, Crispus Attucks, Heritage Christian, Herron, Indiana School for the Deaf, International, Park Tudor, Purdue Polytechnic Broad Ripple, Shortridge, Tindley, Washington, Western Boone and Zionsville.
In Unified flag football, Hamilton Heights host most of the other county schools. The Huskies welcome Carmel, Fishers, Hamilton Southeastern, Lawrence Central, Noblesville and Warren Central.
Westfield will host a sectional, but will be the only county team. The other schools competing there are Blackford, Harrison, McCutcheon, Pike, Twin Lakes and Zionsville.
In volleyball, Fishers will host Class 4A Sectional 8, which is unchanged from last year. Carmel, Hamilton Southeastern, Noblesville, Westfield and Zionsville will also compete there.
Hamilton Heights and Guerin Catholic travel to Class 3A Sectional 24 at New Castle, which is a five-team site. Delta and Jay County are the other two schools competing.
Sheridan travels to Tipton to compete in Class 2A Sectional 39, joining Elwood, Frankton, Lapel and Taylor.
University will head to Cardinal Ritter to play in Class 2A Sectional 42. The other schools are Covenant Christian, Heritage Christian, Park Tudor and Riverside.
