Ronald D. Paro, 68 (Ron/Ronnie), Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born on October 20, 1954, son of the late Clarence Paro and Oleda Paro.
He is survived by the love of his life, Debra Paro (Dwigans). She and Ron were married on July 19, 2003 – they loved each other deeply and flowed so well together. The years they shared loving and laughing were truly the most amazing. They could pick on each other and drive each other crazy, but they loved one another and depended on each other so very much.
He is also survived by his children, Carol Gerholdt (Chris), Ronnie Paro (LaDonna), Robbie Paro, Jason Paro, Jeremy Paro, April Roberts (Jason), and Joey Spurrier; his grandchildren, which were the light of his life, Austin, Matthew, Cody, Zayden, Kaylee, Kyle, Kylie, Kegan, Lily, Maci, Jasmine, and Kali; as well as siblings, Charlene, Polly, JR, Penny, and Ginger.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; his brothers, Red (Ken), Bruce, and Phillip; sister, Candy (Sherri); and grandchildren McKenzie, Tyler and Erin; as well as his best friend and partner in crime Clark Harris of who he just thought the world of.
Ron was so many things; first and foremost, he was FUNNY and so loving. He was The Man, The Myth, The Legend! He lit up any and every room with his laughter and non-stop jokes/comments. He was a hard worker with many talents and could do some drywall like no other! He was always willing to lend a hand and always put others first. He loved football (Colts all the way) fishing, food, and watching any country western show out there. He and Debbie’s favorite show to watch together was Svengoolie! Most of all he loved being with his kids and grandkids just hanging out.
In our eyes, there will never be another Dad/Papaw that gives us the uncontrollable laughs and unconditional love that Ron did. His Papaw duties were simple: make them laugh and love them, and he did that everyday … the jokes, songs he made up, giving out candy and snuggles he gave will forever be in each child’s memory. What happened at Mamaw/Papaw’s stayed at Mamaw/Papaw’s house! The impact he made in our lives was the GREATEST!
The many names he answered to, from Dad, Pops, Papaw, one I can’t mention (haha), Ron, Ronnie, etc., he’ll forever be the best man we all could have been so blessed and honored to love!
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Red Bridge Park Community Building in Cicero. Please come celebrate the life the amazing man we all loved on what would have been his 69th birthday!
