Roger P. Carter

January 12, 1958 – September 27, 2026

Roger P. Carter, 68, Fishers, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, September 27, 2026. He was born on January 12, 1958, in Greenfield, Ind., to Noble L. Carter and Patricia L. Ward Carter Williams.

Roger was a 1976 graduate of Edgewood High School. During high school, he was an outstanding athlete and received many athletic awards as well as being involved in poetry, writing, and journalism clubs. Roger continued his education at Indiana University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business in 1980.

Roger was employed with CIBA Pharmaceutical for many years when he won many awards for outstanding sales performance. After which he became the Broker of Hamilton County Real Estate. On March 2, 1991, Roger and Marguerite (Peggy) Foley were married in South Bend, Ind.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Noble L. Carter.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Carter; daughter, Ava Carter; son, Samuel Carter; and mother, Patricia (Lee) Carter Williams.

Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 8140 Union Chapel Road, Indianapolis, where the Funeral Service will begin at noon.

A Committal Service will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.
