Robert E. “Bob” Gagle

May 25, 1942 – May 4, 2021

Robert E. “Bob” Gagle, 78, Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born on May 25, 1942 to Earl and Dorothy (Swarm) Gagle in Noblesville.

Bob worked for NAPA as a salesman and later co-owned the Noblesville store, retiring after 40 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree. Bob enjoyed fishing and bowling. For 40 years, he attended Indy Car races, and NASCAR races for 20 years. He was an avid fan of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!, faithfully watching every night

Bob is survived by his wife, Nancy DeBethune Gagle; son, Rob Gagle; daughter, Debbie (Mike) McDonald; grandson, Joshua Gagle; granddaughter, Jessica (Andy) Dowell; one niece and three nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Williams.

Services will be held at 3 p.m., with visitation from 1 to 3 p.m., on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 E. 191st St., Noblesville, with Rev. Michael Block officiating. Inurnment will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
