Riverview Health earns the 2019 Women’s Choice Award as America’s Best Hospitals for Orthopedics

Riverview Health has been named one of America’s Best Hospitals for Orthopedics by the Women’s Choice Awards.

This award is based on results through the Hospital Consumer Assessment for Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey for patient recommendations and post-operative recovery instructions. These measures are identified as very important to women when choosing a hospital, and only hospitals in the top 10 percent are considered for this award.

“It’s important to not only provide the best quality healthcare possible, but also ensure our patients are treated as if they are family,” said Joyce Wood, chief nursing officer & vice president of organization improvement. “We’re proud of our hardworking team for receiving this award.”

Riverview Health has also been recognized this year for several national awards, including Healthgrades America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery for two years in a row (2018-2019). Healthgrades is the leading online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals.
