Zionsville High School student Lilly Samuel recently joined State Rep. Donna Schaibley (R-Carmel) at the Statehouse where she participated in the Indiana House Page Program. Lilly the daughter of Tony and Anita Samuel.

According to Schaibley, Samuel toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, helped staff with daily responsibilities and joined her on the House floor to witness the legislative process. The page program operates during the legislative session, which wrapped up on March 9.

“Our youth are the future of Indiana,” Schaibley said. “You are never too young to be a responsible and educated citizen. Student pages gain exposure to how our state operates, which I hope encourages them to stay curious and involved in their government.”

Schaibley said students between the ages of 13 and 18 should consider participating during the 2023 session.
