December 30, 1938 – November 2, 2025
Raymond Edward Leonard Jr., was born on December 30, 1938 in Elwood, Ind. He lived a spirited and fulfilling life until his passing on November 2, 2025. Raymond was a pillar of his community in Arcadia, where he resided, and was known by many for his funny, loyal, and loving nature. His life was marked by his dedication to his work, his love for his hobbies and above all, his unwavering commitment to his family.
A dedicated route salesman, Raymond spent over 45 years serving his community, working with companies like Dean’s Milk, Coca-Cola, Holsum Breads, and Vintage Spirits. Despite his long and successful career, Raymond’s true joys in life were found outside the workplace. He loved golfing and bowling, watching golf tournaments on TV during his downtime, and camping. Raymond also cherished spending time with his grandchildren and following their sports teams. He was known for his help with Kevin’s lawn care business, where he spent his retired years contributing to the family endeavor.
Raymond was a loving husband to Kathryn Leonard, whom he married on June 12, 1965. He was a beloved father to Cindy (Kevin) Hunter and Kim (Steve) Cunningham. He was a proud grandfather to Taylor (Brady) Kendall, Trevor Cunningham, and Raechel (Andrew) Hunter, and great-grandfather to Magnolia Kendall. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Deloris Leonard; brothers, Thomas and Phillip Leonard; and great-grandson, Jack Kendall.
