Public welcome to Carmel Clay GOP pork roast

Hamilton County Sheriff Dennis Quakenbush and Carmel Police Chief Jim Barlow will speak at the annual Carmel Clay Republican Pork Roast on Tuesday, Sept. 21. It will be the 18th annual club event held at the home of Herb and Sue Miller, 11300 Haverstick Road, Carmel.

The general public is welcome at the outdoor event (inside in case of rain) with a meal of pork chops or hot dogs prepared on site, along with baked beans, salad and dessert for $10 per person.

The sheriff and police chief will discuss their continuing efforts to keep the community crime-free, and be available to talk with folks present in an informal setting. Events begin at 6:30 p.m.
