OneZone Business Action Committee endorses Dustin Dixon for Hamilton County Sheriff

The OneZone Business Action Committee has endorsed Dustin Dixon for Hamilton County Sheriff, citing his extensive law enforcement experience, proven leadership, and commitment to keeping Hamilton County safe as the community continues to grow.

The committee pointed to Dixon’s experience within the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, his understanding of the county’s evolving public safety needs, and his commitment to strong partnerships with residents, businesses, and community leaders as key factors in its decision.

“Dustin Dixon brings extensive law enforcement experience, proven leadership, and a strong understanding of the public safety needs of a growing Hamilton County,” OneZone Chamber President Jack Russell said. “His commitment to keeping our communities safe while building strong partnerships with residents, businesses, and local leaders makes him a strong choice to serve as Hamilton County Sheriff.”

Dixon has spent more than two decades in law enforcement, building experience in patrol, investigations, and leadership. Throughout his career, he has worked with law enforcement agencies and community partners across Hamilton County while focusing on public safety and effective service to the community.

The OneZone Business Action Committee, made up of OneZone Chamber members, evaluates candidates using nonpartisan criteria. The committee reviews candidate qualifications, policy positions, leadership experience, and alignment with issues important to Hamilton County’s business community.

In announcing the endorsement, the committee pointed to Dixon’s experience, leadership, and understanding of the challenges that come with Hamilton County’s continued growth. The committee also cited his focus on collaboration, public safety, and ensuring the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is prepared to meet the needs of a growing county.
