Chariot Automotive Group’s Academy Dealership celebrates five years of business & community service

Chariot Automotive Group’s Academy dealership in Tipton celebrated five years of community involvement and customer success with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Aug. 20. The celebration continue with a free, family-friendly community “Cruise In” in partnership with the JackWagon Car Club on Saturday, Aug. 22.

In addition to its automotive sales and service efforts, Academy is the flagship dealership location of Chariot Automotive Group’s ATEP (Automotive Technician Education Pathway) program, which provides Indiana high school students with hands-on technical training for college credit. By combining classroom learning, real-world experience, and industry-recognized credentials, ATEP creates a clear, affordable pathway from high school to career. Thus far, the program has served approximately 150 students from 13 schools.

“We are excited to celebrate this milestone with all of the communities we serve,” said Rex Gingerich, Founder & CEO of Chariot Automotive Group. “In the last five years, we’ve enjoyed welcoming customers from across Tipton and Hamilton counties to our store and we look forward to meeting many more in the next five years. This celebration is more than recognizing a car dealership; it’s a reflection of our commitment to community and continuous education through the ATEP program.”

Chariot has been integrated into Tipton and its surrounding communities through charitable efforts like Cross America and hosting blood drives in partnership with the Red Cross.
