Printing Partners Pops Series presents “Frank Sinatra and Great Ladies of Song”

Fans of the oh-so-cool Frank Sinatra and soulful Ella Fitzgerald will not want to miss “Frank Sinatra and Great Ladies of Song,” set for Oct. 22 and 23 at the Hilbert Circle Theatre.

Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly conducts the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra as they host vocalist/pianist Tony DeSare and vocalist Capathia Jenkins. Audiences can look forward to these talented artists performing some of the classics from composers like Johnny Mercer, Cole Porter and the Gershwins.

From jazz clubs to Carnegie Hall to Las Vegas headlining with Don Rickles and major symphony orchestras, DeSare has performed his updated stylings of old-school classics to audiences around the globe. DeSare has four Top 10 Billboard jazz albums under his belt and his most recent release, Lush Life, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Traditional Jazz Chart.

Capathia Jenkins is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her work as a Broadway performer, with roles in shows like Caroline, or Change, Newsies and Martin Short’s Fame Becomes Me. Her television credits include 30 Rock, The Practice, Law & Order and The Sopranos and has sung on the film soundtracks Nine, Chicago and Legally Blonde 2.
