Norma Anne (Rucoi) Pudleiner, 77, Westfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2026. She was born on May 17, 1949, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Millard and Mary (Dennis) Rucoi.
On September 1, 1973, Norma married Gene Pudleiner, and together they built a family rooted in faith, generosity, and devotion. Norma worked as a Certified Nurse and later at Esler’s Auto Repair for more than 20 years, where she was known for her kindness, reliability, and genuine care for others.
A woman of deep Catholic faith, Norma was a devoted member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and lived her faith through service, always ready and willing to help anyone in need. She was also a member of Little Sisters of Sigma Pi.
Norma found joy in gardening, with evidence of the beautiful flowers around her home. She also enjoyed reading, cooking delicious meals, baking delightful desserts, rosary making, traveling with friends, and offering quiet acts of charity. She was a friend to all and had a gift for making others feel seen, welcomed, and loved.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Rucoi.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Gene; daughter, Gina Pudleiner; son, Michael (Amanda) Pudleiner; grandchildren, Anelysta and Nathaniel Pudleiner; and brother, John Rucoi.
Family and friends will gather at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oak Ridge Road, Carmel, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m.
In memory of Norma, donations may be made to the Women’s Care Center or the Merciful Help Center. Envelopes will be available at the service.
