Dear Editor:

Last Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, I was in the Noblesville Post Office along with about eight or 10 other patrons. The atmosphere was in the usual pre-Christmas jovial spirit. And as usual, Brady, a postal employee, was in his amicable mood receiving the customers.

Another patron entered the lobby and Brady immediately turned ashen. In a very authoritative voice, Brady demanded the man leave due to the patron wearing a firearm, totally exposed, on his hip. The man immediately challenged Brady, but Brady became more forceful in tone and actions. After sneering at Brady, the man finally left.

There was a distinct possibility of a very grim outcome had it not been for Brady, his stern demeanor, and quick action. He followed a very effective procedure and kept everyone calm and safe.

Brady should be commended for being an exemplary employee.

I hope this brings positive recognition to Brady. Events could have taken a very bad turn had Brady not stopped the fellow in his tracks.

  1. Wow… A guy with a gun – And the events could have taken a very bad turn? Other than the fact that they aren’t allowed inside federal property, what would have caused things to take a bad turn?
