Noblesville falls to Siegel in first Warrior Classic game

The Noblesville baseball team began play at the Warrior Classic Thursday with a 3-2 loss to Siegel.

The Stars scored a run in the bottom of the first inning. The Millers got their runs in the fourth inning. Brady Bishop scored the first run on a wild pitch, then Trevor Corbett scored when Aiden Ramsey drew a bases-loaded walk. Siegel tied the game in the fifth inning and scored in the seventh inning for the win.

Corbett had two hits. Beckett Doane threw four and a two-thirds innings, striking out seven.

Noblesville is 1-1 and plays two games at the Warrior Classic today, taking on Science Hill at 3:30 p.m. and Oakland at 6 p.m.
