Noblesville cop graduates from FBI Academy in Quantico

The Noblesville Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of Lieutenant Robert Busalacchi from the 271st Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va. Lt. Busalacchi graduated from the 10-week training program on March 16. This was the 271st session of the National Academy and consisted of 223 law enforcement officers from all over the U.S., District of Columbia, 18 international countries, five military organizations and five federal civilian organizations.

The FBI National Academy is a professional course of study for U.S. and international law enforcement managers nominated by their agency heads because of demonstrated leadership qualities. The 10-week program – which provides coursework in intelligence theory, terrorism and terrorist mindsets, management science, law, behavioral science, law enforcement communication and forensic science – serves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge and cooperation worldwide.

Lt. Busalacchi joins a cadre of other leaders on the department that have graduated from the academy to include:

  • Curt Kinman, Session 212 in 2003
  • Bruce Barnes, Session 221 in 2005
  • Captain Brad Arnold, Session 224 in 2006
  • Captain Jon Williams, Session 238 in 2009
  • Captain Shannon Trump, Session 254 in 2013
  • Shane Ginnan, Session 257 in 2014
