Dear Editor:
I’ve been a family law attorney in Hamilton County for nearly 20 years. I first met Chris Evans when he was an attorney practicing in Noblesville.
As an opposing attorney in family law cases, I found Chris to be smart, prepared, respectful, and committed to achieve a good outcome for families. He took a common-sense approach and I enjoyed working with Chris on several family law cases.
Chris is now a Magistrate Judge in Hamilton County and is running to become the next judge of Hamilton County Superior Court 3.
As a Magistrate Judge, Chris has handled every type of case that will be heard in Hamilton Superior Court 3, which makes him uniquely qualified to become the next judge of Superior Court 3. He is the only candidate with the requisite judicial training and experience.
I have appeared with clients for hearings in front of Magistrate Chris Evans and can attest that Magistrate Chris Evans is fair and impartial and treats all litigants and attorneys in his courtroom with respect. He has the knowledge, wisdom, and perhaps most importantly, the experience, to be the next judge of Hamilton Superior Court No. 3.
