Newly elected officials to be sworn in on Dec. 13

Swearing-in ceremonies for Hamilton County’s newly elected and re-elected officials will be held Dec. 13 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Mill Top Banquet and Conference, 802 Mulberry St., Noblesville.

Thirteen county officials, all Republicans, will be sworn in at the ceremonial event. Terms for officials elected in November will be effective Jan. 1.

A reception will follow the ceremony which is planned by the county Republican Central Committee. The program is open to the public.

Taking the oath of office will be Superior Court judge Jon Brown and judge-elect Darren Murphy, prosecutor-elect Greg Garrison, County Sheriff Dennis Quakenbush and County Clerk Kathy Williams.

Also entering office are Trini Beaver as county recorder, Jeff Jellison as coroner, Kevin Poore as assessor, Christine Altman as county commissioner, and county councilors Tim Griffin, Amy Massillamany, Mark Hall, and Ken Alexander.
