New NHS Wrestling Coach Named

Noblesville Schools announced today that Michael Weimer has been named head wrestling coach at Noblesville High School (NHS). Weimer replaces Tom Knotts who is retiring at the end of the year.

“We are very excited to welcome Coach Weimer to the NHS athletic staff,” said Tony Oilar, interim athletic director for Noblesville High School. “I’m confident there is a great future for Miller wrestling under his guidance.”

Weimer’s wrestling background includes a role as assistant wrestling coach at Westfield High School and head wrestling coach at John Hardin High School in Hardin, Kentucky. He has also served as assistant wrestling coach at both Lawrence North High School and Carmel High School.

Weimer currently teaches at Carey Ridge Elementary in Westfield and will be joining NHS this fall as a physical education teacher.
