Nelson P. Teeters, 77, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 after a brief illness. He was born July 18, 1941 to Ethan and Myrtle Aileen Teeters, both of whom preceded him in death.
Nelson was a farmer and fur buyer during his life. He loved Louis L’Amour novels, Indiana University basketball, giving grain marketing advice and his dogs, Frank and Duke.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Davis, West Union, Ill.; his daughter, Nancy Ramsey, Noblesville; his son, Nelson P. Teeters II, West Union, Ill.; two granddaughters, Jenna (Zach) Ramsey Daum, Pocahontas, Ill.; and Holly Ramsey, Noblesville; and his sister, Mary Jane Eichacker-Kaufman, Indianapolis.
Nancy will be hosting a celebration of Nelson’s life in the spring from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28 at the Teeter Retreat and Farm, 10980 E. 221st St., Noblesville.
