The Sheridan Historical Society will host an author meet and greet program from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21 at the Society’s Museum, located at 315 S. Main St., Sheridan.
There will be two authors at this event: Lora Goff and David Heighway. Mr. Heighway is the current Hamilton County Historian, and he recently wrote a new book pertaining to the history of Hamilton County. Ms. Goff is a retired Sheridan Community School elementary teacher and has a new children’s book.
Both authors will be available to meet and talk with their fans and sign books. Books will be made available for purchase at the museum. One dollar of each book sold will go back to the museum’s general fund.
The museum is open regularly from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
