Arcadia Brethren Church
You never know what is going on off the camera. The person you see on TV every night is carrying things you may never know about.
Many of you probably recognize Scott Swan from the news. But there’s a lot more to him than what you see on TV. He spent 10 years battling panic attacks and nearly lost his life to internal bleeding in 2017.
This Sunday, Nov. 1, we’re welcoming WTHR anchor Scott Swan to Arcadia Brethren Church, 8989 E. 266th St., to hear his story.
Scott will talk about what those experiences taught him about faith, getting through difficult seasons, and finding hope when life doesn’t go the way you expected. He wrote about much of that in his 365-day devotional, The Hope You Need Today.
We’ll have free coffee and donuts starting at 9:45 a.m., with the service beginning at 10 a.m. Scott’s book will be available for $20, and he’ll be around afterward to sign copies and visit. You can also find his book on Amazon.
You don’t need to be a churchgoer to join us. No need to dress up. Jeans are perfectly fine. If you could use some encouragement, or you’re simply interested in hearing Scott’s story, we’d love to have you.
Come spend the morning with us. You belong here.
