After discovering that the soft ground in the horse arena was both too deep and too slick for both humans and horses, 4-H organizers quickly pivoted to a backup plan, moving all events to this open field on fairgrounds property. Thank you both for putting safety first. If this had not worked out, this newspaper is confident they would have had a third plan as well.
