Monon Greenway at City Center Drive
Now through Oct. 31, Phase 3 of the Monon Boulevard expansion requires the closure of the Monon Trail at the tunnel under City Center Drive.
1st Avenue NW
1st Avenue NW will be closed to through traffic for utility work. The posted detour route utilizes 2nd Street NW, Range Line Road and 3rd Street NW. This closure will take place during daytime work hours and will reopen in the evening. Work is expected to last two days.
105th Street
As of Monday, Oct. 6, 105th Street between Cornell Avenue and McPherson Street is closed for up to five days for utility work. The posted detour route will utilize Cornell Avenue, 104th Street and McPherson Street. Access to other properties on the closed block of 105th Street will be maintained from McPherson Street.
Towne Road Updates
Weather- and progress-permitting
- 136th Street is now open
- 141st Street is now closed and will open later this month
- Towne Road Bridge over Interstate 465 is an INDOT project that has an expected completion of early 2026
Clay Center Bridge
The bridge south of Main Street and north of the Claridge Farm neighborhood entrance is closed through October.
Southbound Range Line Road
Southbound Range Line Road remains closed between Walnut Street and City Center Drive through Oct. 7.
The detour route utilizes Walnut Street, 3rd Avenue SW, and City Center Drive. Northbound Range Line Road is open.
126th Street Bridge Rehabilitation
126th Street between Brookshire Parkway and Royce Court is closed for bridge rehabilitation with an expected completion date of mid-November.
Local traffic will continue to have access to their homes, while thru traffic is asked to use the posted detour of Keystone Parkway – 131st Street – Gray Road.
