Kathleen Glynn Carney, 73, Cicero, passed away on November 23, 2020 at Riverview Health in Noblesville.
She was born on October 13, 1947 in Noblesville to Glen and Verone (Douglas) Carson. Her parents preceded her in death.
She attended Jackson Township Schools and graduated from Jackson Central High School with the Class of 1965. She then furthered her education, earning a BS degree in education and a Master’s degree, also in education. Returning to her hometown, she taught English and history at Hamilton Heights Middle School for 35 years.
Leisure time would find her reading, taking good care of her indoor and outdoor cats, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth (Jason) Robbins, Greencastle, and a grandson, Jeremy Robbins, also of Greencastle.
There will be a time of visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero. Please wear a mask and respect social distancing while at the funeral home. Private burial will occur at Cicero Cemetery at a later date.
