Karen Sue Sweeney, 74, of Whitestown, IN, formerly of Owosso, MI, passed away April 1, 2017. She was born on September 23, 1942 in Owosso, MI.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth and Paul (Donna); granddaughter, Elizabeth; grandson, Elijah; sisters, Brenda and Linda (Dale); brothers, Terry (Peggy) and Fred (Ann).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 12 noon in St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Westfield, IN. Visitation will take place at 10 am until time of Mass in the church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Karen be given to Shepherd’s Gate Food Pantry at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church.
