June 14, 1957 – December 26, 2020
Julia Ann Bohl, 63, Carmel, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2020 after a tragic fall. She was born on June 14, 1957 in Vancouver, Wash., to Max and Leona Morgan.
Above all things, Julie loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She unconditionally loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She also loved to run and did so frequently with her dog at her side. She enjoyed the beach (yes, she enthusiastically escaped Indiana weather) and being out in the sunshine. She had a passion for gardening and antiquing. Julie prided herself on being active and was such an example of discipline and motivation.
Along with her hobbies, Julie was a nurse for over 40 years. If you knew Julie, it was evident that this was a calling from the Lord. She thrived in stressful moments that only those in healthcare experience so frequently. She went to great lengths for her patients as a dedicated nurse at the St. Vincent Heart Hospital as well as numerous other hospitals throughout her career.
In faithfully serving the Lord, Julie attended College Park Church and relished in the Sunday morning services while sitting with her family.
Julie is survived by her husband, Scott Bohl; children, Nathan (Julie) Shields, Alexa Shields (Alex Gregorek) and Aaron (Sarah) Shields; three grandchildren, Ava, Greyson and Sloane Shields; and siblings, Dan (Liz) Morgan, Sarah (Hubert) Harriman, Mary (Dennis) Norling and Jonathan (Charma) Morgan.
Family and friends will gather from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at First Baptist Church Carmel, with her funeral service taking place at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at College Park Church.
