July 3, 1980 – September 30, 2026
Joshua David Moore, a compassionate and dedicated man, was born on July 3, 1980, in Noblesville to Phil and Dana (Overdorf) Moore. Josh passed away on September 30, 2026 at the age of 46.
Known for his reliability and loving spirit, Josh touched countless lives through his work as an ER Paramedic Registered Nurse. He was a strong pillar in the healthcare community, working throughout the St. Vincent Ascension Emergency Rooms, where he received multiple DAISY and Good Catch Awards for his exceptional service. He was not only a gifted and compassionate trauma nurse but also a mentor, teaching and guiding new nurses when he had the opportunity.
Josh was a man of many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed golfing whenever he had the opportunity, but especially when his daughter Kami was able to join. He enjoyed the thrill of riding his motorcycle and the tranquility of his runs and walks. He was an enthusiastic Colts and Pacers fan, which he enjoyed sharing with his papaw Moore who just passed three months earlier. He also made no secret of his distaste for the Steelers, a jest shared among friends and family. Josh’s love for the holidays was evident in his penchant for dressing up, especially as Buddy the Elf and spreading good cheer among those around him. He loved eating crab and homemade ice cream. He was also a proud Butler dad and a member of the Noblesville Masonic Lodge.
Josh was a beacon of love for his family and a caring son who checked on his parents daily. He is survived by his parents, Philip and Dana Moore; his brother, Matthew (Joni) Moore; his sisters, Christina (Bradley) Thomas and Elisabeth (Jeff) Parobechek; his daughter Kami Scollick; and daughter Ella Corbit; his special friend, Jenny Carmack; former wife Amber Scollick; and his cherished nieces and nephews, especially David and Luke, additionally Kaiya, Isaac, Gabriel, Benjamin, Alec, Jabin, Elliania, and Malachi.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Eleanor Moore, Gordon and Dollorece Overdorf, and Anna and Arthur Lindener.
