Jon Mark Ogle, 84, Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving wife Linda, his daughter Sandy, and his son Mike. He was born on January 14, 1939, to the late James and Martha (Johnson) Ogle in Sheridan.
Jon was a 1957 graduate of Carmel High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He served on the Hamilton County Council for seven years and then as the Hamilton County Auditor for two terms. He owned a painting and wallpapering business and was a professional photographer in his earlier career. He was a pilot and built an experimental airplane. Jon loved history and was a Civil War buff. He and Linda also enjoyed traveling to all the contiguous 48 states.
Jon is survived by his wife, Linda L. (Nevitt) Ogle; daughter, Sandra Kay (Michael) Leagre; son, Jon Michael (Linda A.) Ogle; brother, Jimmy Ogle; sisters, Dona Myers, Vicki Maddox, and Lisa Moody; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
