Jim Wright, 67, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on October 23, 1951 in Noblesville.
Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a tree trimmer for Asplundh and Custom Touch Irrigation. Jim was an avid fisherman who loved NASCAR and the Indianapolis Colts. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his girlfriend of 25 years, Gladys Goff; siblings, Linda Sue Welty (Steve), Richard Alan Wright (Lana) and Angie Lavonne Crawley; stepsister, Sandra Shook; stepbrother, James Moran; honorary sister, Ellen Kinney; daughter, Betty Jean Wright Cain; son, Gabe Wright; stepdaughters, Mary Goff and Patricia Schroeter; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Walter E. Wright; and his mother, Betty (Winkley) Spannuth-Hoffmeister.
A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Noblesville VFW, 654 S. 9th St., Noblesville. A meal will be served at 2 p.m. at the VFW prior to the Memorial Service. Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes of Noblesville has been entrusted with Jim’s care.
