Everyone is invited to attend the third annual Diwali Festival at Carter Green in Carmel on Saturday, Oct. 10. With great weather in the forecast and high attendance anticipated, reaching the festivities is effortless whether you choose to ride or walk:
Parking options
- Free Park & Ride shuttles: Enjoy quick, hassle-free transportation by parking at Carmel High School Stadium Lots 1 and 2, 2450 E. 136th St. Five complimentary shuttles will operate continuously between 4 p.m. and the final pickup at Carter Green at 10:30 p.m.
- Park & walk: For a short, pleasant walk on a beautiful evening, convenient public parking is available at Carmel United Methodist Church, 621 S. Range Line Road, accessible via City Center Drive.
Road closure
From 4 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, the southbound lane of 3rd Avenue SW south of City Center Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic. The northbound lane of 3rd Avenue SW will be open to traffic.
