Indiana Connections Academy, a tuition-free full-time public virtual school, is now enrolling students in grades K-12 for the 2024-2025 school year.
Indiana Connections Academy provides students with the continuous support of highly-skilled teachers and a curriculum that focuses on both academics and helping to build fundamental life skills. This combination fosters an environment for students to gain the confidence they need to thrive.
Beginning with the 2024-25 school year, Indiana Connections Academy students in grades 6-12 will have access to an expanded college and career course offering designed to prepare students for a future they’re passionate about pursuing.
“Indiana Connections Academy empowers students through personalized learning plans, enabling students to pursue their education in a way that works best for them,” said Kelly Simone, executive director of Indiana Connections Academy. “We are thrilled to offer expanded college and career course offerings for the 2024-25 school year, which reaffirms our commitment to supporting all students throughout their time at Indiana Connections Academy as they change, grow and prepare for their futures.”
Indiana Connections Academy’s expanded offering combines traditional courses with industry-leading, career-focused options to help students develop the right skills, gain real-world experiences, and make industry connections to feel confident and prepared for their unique future.
Students can work with their school counselor to explore and identify a career path that is right for them and opportunities that can support that path. This can include making connections and engaging with several industry and higher education partners and student organizations. Students will also focus on developing essential skills like critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and leadership.
For more than a decade, Indiana Connections Academy has served thousands of students with a variety of needs. Students complete rigorous school work in the comfort of their homes with virtual instruction and support from state-certified teachers. Students develop a strong degree of intrinsic motivation and critical thinking while enrolled at Indiana Connections Academy.
Indiana Connections Academy offers many activities throughout the course of the year to help build community and relationships including numerous field trips, student government, National Honor Society, prom and an in-person graduation ceremony. Indiana Connections Academy also offers many course options for students, including core classes in math, science, language arts and social studies; extensive electives including foreign languages, digital technology and career technical courses, as well as honors and dual credit courses. The school also offers a broad assortment of online clubs, ranging from robotics and gaming to poetry and art.
