Huskies win OT game with Winchester

Hamilton Heights won a topsy-turvy overtime home game with Winchester on Saturday afternoon by the score of 75-64.
The Huskies led 18-9 after the first quarter, with Isaac Tuma hitting two 3-pointers. The Golden Falcons closed that advantage to 31-30 by halftime; Tuma added another seven points, totaling 15 for the half. Winchester then jumped ahead 44-40 after three periods, but the Huskies poured in 22 points in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 62-62 at the end of regulation. Heights then overwhelmed Winchester 13-2 in the extra period, with Luke Carroll scoring eight of those points.
Carroll finished with 26 points, scoring in all five periods. He also had eight rebounds and five assists. Tuma finished with 21 points, including three 3s, and Tillman Etchison added 12 points. Dean Mason collected six rebounds.
The Huskies are 8-7 and host Noblesville on Wednesday. The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but was pushed back a day due to the Heights girls playing in the sectional final at Yorktown on Tuesday.
