Blackhawks lose tough semi-final to Seeger

Sheridan dropped a tough semi-final game at Class 2A Sectional 38 at Clinton Prairie on Saturday, falling to Seeger 30-29.
The Blackhawks led 11-10 after the first quarter, with Ashley Webel scoring five points. The Patriots came back to tie the game at 15-15 by halftime, then went ahead 24-21 after three periods. Sheridan fought its way through the fourth quarter, with Kenzie Garner scoring six points, but Seeger was able to hold on for the win.
Garner led the Blackhawks with 13 points.
Sheridan finished its season 14-6, including a share of the Hoosier Heartland Conference championship.
