Hamilton Southeastern girls basketball star Kennedy Holman has committed to the University of Florida.
Holman, who began her senior year at Southeastern on Wednesday, made the announcement with a post on X (formerly Twitter) that afternoon. She thanked her family and coaches, as well as the “Florida coaching staff for believing in me since day one. I’m excited to be a gator.”
As a junior, Holman helped the 2024-25 edition of the Royals to their first sectional and regional championships in six years, a 27-1 record and an appearance in the Class 4A semi-state title game. She led the team in assists (5.8 per game) and steals (2.0) while pouring in 12.2 points and 5.3 rebounds. Holman will be the leading returning scorer for Southeastern this season.
