HSE girls win Royal Relays

The Hamilton Southeastern girls track & field team hosted – and won – the Royal Relays on Saturday, April 18.

Southeastern scored 126 points, nicely ahead of runner-up Center Grove’s 106 points. The Royals were boosted by victories in seven of the 15 events.

Zoe Gebhart claimed two races, winning the 1600 run and the 3200 run, the latter event in a new meet record time of 11 minutes, 8.62 seconds. Anissa Lammie was first in the 400 dash and Chloe Senefeld won the 300 hurdles.

Cianna Cunningham, Senefeld and Kaleah McCarter were the relay queens, running on the Royals’ first-place 4×100 and 4×200 squads. The trio joined Laila Ehrgott on the 4×100 race and Lammie on the 4×200 relay.

Riley Williams and Eleanor Henry teamed up to win the pole vault relay for HSE.
