Hamilton Southeastern’s girls team sailed to a Hoosier Crossroads Conference win at Avon Friday.
The Class 4A No. 3 Royals beat the Orioles 73-42. Southeastern outscored Avon in each of the four quarters, leading 43-20 at halftime.
Riley Makalusky led the Royals with 23 points, while Maya Makalusky scored 17 points. Southeastern was dominant on the boards with 44 rebounds; Teegan Acres collected 10. Olivia Brown pulled seven rebounds, followed by Kennedy Holman and Lauren Stewart with six each.
The Royals are 4-0 in conference play and 11-0 overall. Southeastern is off until next Saturday, Dec. 17 when it hosts Fishers in the Mudsock game.
