History comes alive in Westfield with ‘Voices from the Past’

Westfield’s popular living history walk Voices from the Past returns this weekend to the city’s downtown.

Attendees will participate in a 90-minute walk in which a tour guide will lead them through downtown Westfield. Along the way, guides will provide information about Westfield’s most historic locations.

Along the walk, participants will meet notable people from Westfield’s past played by actors from Westfield Playhouse, learn their stories and interact with them in informative Q-and-A following each performance.

It’s a fun and educational event for people of all ages.

Voices from the Past occurs from 4 to 8 p.m. this Friday. Tours begin at the east entrance to Asa Bales Park (211 N. Union St.) departing every 15 minutes.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students (ages 13 to 18) and free for children 12 and under.
