Dear Editor:

The Center for the Performing Arts is dedicated to sparking creativity, inspiring discovery, and fostering lifelong learning through the power of live performance. Today, I’m reaching out to share how YOU can join us in making a difference.

One of our proudest achievements this year was the launch of the Prism Project at the Center, a groundbreaking initiative that expanded our educational reach. Designed to provide an inclusive, four-week performing arts experience for individuals with disabilities ages 6 to 25, the inaugural Prism Project at the Center was nothing short of a resounding success, touching the lives of 25 children and young adults.

The Prism Project was presented in partnership with Kelly Fischer, Senior Lecturer at Ball State University, who has extensive experience in hosting similar programs across various organizations. Kelly and her son, Noah, have participated in the Center’s education programs for years. When she mentioned finding a new home for the Prism Project camp, we knew immediately it belonged at the Center.

Each week, participants were given a platform to express themselves, to learn, and just as importantly, to have fun and make friends. They took part in dance, drama, and music activities that not only encouraged their creativity but also enhanced their self-esteem and social skills.

The opportunities for continued programming such as the Prism Project are tremendous. Your tax-deductible gift makes these life-changing educational arts programs possible.

And now we have a match challenge, thanks to John C. and Marianne S. Hart of J.C. Hart Company. All new and increased gifts made by Dec. 31 will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000. Whether it’s a one-time contribution or a recurring donation, it all supports the Center’s mission.

Many of our supporters make a gift of stock, a grant from a Donor-Advised Fund, or a Qualified Charitable Distribution.

Join other supporters in ensuring that every child, regardless of their abilities, can experience the transformative power of the arts. Donate today at thecenterpresents.org/donate. Thank you for your support.

With excitement for our shared future and impact,
