According to the Hamilton Heights Alumni Association (HHAA), September’s All-School Reunion welcomed more than 200 people and raised enough money to increase the scholarship fund for 2027.
This year, two $1,000 scholarships were given to Hamilton Heights seniors; next year, two $1,500 scholarships, plus a $1,000 scholarship from the Jackson Central Class of 1955 and a $1,000 scholarship from the Jackson Central Class of 1961. This was made possible by attendees earmarking their reservations with “Scholarship Fund” as well as all the silent auction items, baskets, painting, and yearbooks that were sold at the reunion itself.
Looking forward to next year’s reunion, the HHAA has already set the date for another luncheon reunion on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2027. The 50-year Honor Class next year will be the Hamilton Heights Class of 1977.
