‘Hawks pick up dual win at Prairie

Sheridan won a dual meet at Clinton Prairie 66-3 on Wednesday.
The Blackhawks had six wins by fall, starting with Shane Cox at 106 pounds. Also getting pins were Trai Fitzgerald at 120, Alden Hamersly at 132, Kevin Speck at 138, Noah Ehrie at 145 and Jacobs Jones at 195, finishing the meet with a first-period fall. Sheridan won the five other matches by forfeits, to Peyton Cross at 220, Nakia Bogus at 113, Austin Bond at 126, Presten Weir at 152 and Gabe Holler at 170.
The ‘Hawks will compete at the Tipton Invitational on Saturday.
