Gymnastics: Westfield places 2nd, Noblesville 4th at invites

The Westfield gymnastics team finished second at the Rushville Invitational last Saturday.

The Shamrocks scored 96.375 points. New Palestine was the team champion with a 98.125. Westfield had one individual champion, as Elianna Reynolds was first on the balance beam with an 8.525. Reynolds went on to finish second in the all-around with a score of 33.425; she had the highest team score of the night with an 8.775 on the floor exercise, placing her third in that event.

Noblesville placed fourth at the Lafayette Jefferson Invitational last Saturday.

The Millers totaled a team score of 88.65. Valorey Bittles led Noblesville with a ninth-place finih in the ll-around, scoring 32.00 points. Bittles scored an 8.50 on vault, placing her fifth and was 11th on the bars with a 7.35. Emmerson Leckrone took 10th on bars with a 7.45.
