Guerin Catholic’s girls pulled their record back to .500 on Wednesday by cruising past Perry Meridian 59-22 in an away game.
The Golden Eagles took care of business in the first half, leading 20-6 after one quarter and 38-12 at halftime. Lucy Collins hit three 3-pointers during the half for nine points, with Annie Murphy making two triples on her way to 10 points. Ava Bills added two 3s in the third quarter. Guerin Catholic led 52-18 after three, never allowing the Falcons more than six points in a period.
Murphy led the nine GC players that scored with 13 points, while Bills added 12. Collins’ three 3s gave her nine points, while Kori Dues scored eight.
The Golden Eagles are 6-6, having won five of their last six games. Guerin Catholic is idle until Friday, Dec. 22, when it competes in the Ivy Tech Holiday Classic at Whiteland.
